I’m Tyler, a working photographer who shoots both film and digital. These workshops are built for photographers who care about atmosphere, composition, and storytelling, not influencer poses or rushed tours. Groups are intentionally small so everyone gets real guidance and space to create.

No. These workshops are designed for both film and digital photographers. You are welcome to shoot 35mm, medium format, mirrorless, or DSLR. I personally shoot both, and guidance is focused on composition, light, and storytelling rather than camera settings.

These workshops are best for photographers who already understand basic camera operation. You do not need to be advanced, but you should feel comfortable shooting in manual or aperture priority. Beginners with some experience are welcome.

Groups are limited to 6 photographers. This keeps the experience personal and allows for real one on one guidance while shooting.

Are flights and hotels included?
No. This gives you flexibility to choose your own accommodations and travel schedule. Once you register, you will receive suggested neighborhoods and hotel recommendations to make planning easy.

International workshops include two full shooting days, plus an optional welcome evening walk. Local Chicago workshops are typically one full day.

Street photography, environmental portraits, architectural details, and light driven storytelling. There is also time for slower observation and personal projects. These are not influencer style tours. The focus is intentional photography.

Absolutely. Many participants arrive early or stay longer to explore on their own. The workshop days are structured so you can easily build personal travel around them.

Because group sizes are small, all registrations are non refundable. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another photographer with approval.

Fill out the inquiry form on this page. A 50% deposit is required to hold your place in the workshop. The remaining balance is due closer to the workshop date and timing will be shared after registration. Because group sizes are limited to six photographers, spots are filled on a first come basis once the deposit is received.
